Welcome to My Best Friend Dolls

Hi, I'm Marieanne Hodson, cloth art doll maker and designer.  I began making cloth art dolls in the early 2011, after discovering and falling in love with the amazing creations of other very talented art doll artists!  

All of my dolls are handmade and are for display only, they are not toys and are not suitable for children. 


Each doll comes with their own unique name and personality so no two dolls are exactly the same. I have several collections of dolls that I make, each with a different design and theme in mind.


The doll bodies are made from calico and stuffed firmly with new polyfill. The faces are drawn on using ink pens and painted in with acrylic paints. 


They make a wonderful gift for someone special or as a collector’s item. Enjoy getting to know their personalities and hopefully you’ll want to make one of them your new best friend too.
